Come swim some laps and help raise money at our upcoming swimathon at Rice University’s Barbara and David Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center on Sunday, February 4th 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm!
Here’s how it works:

2) Sponsors agree to donate a certain dollar amount per lap (per 25 yards) swum. Sponsors can also choose to donate a specific lump sum.
3) Sponsors & participants fill out the registration form here: https://forms.gle/Jiaa4JnAUhWdp1FdA
4) On Sunday, February 4th at 1:00 pm, participants may begin swimming laps and are aiming to swim as many laps as possible in the 2 hour time limit.
All participants will receive a Float2Fly sticker.
Participants who raise $50 will receive a silicone Float2Fly cap.*
Participants who raise $100 will receive a Float2Fly t-shirt.*
*While supplies last, in order of registration.
What are we fundraising for?
Over the past two summers, we’ve partnered with the City of Houston to provide free water safety and swim lessons to over 600 children and adults. This summer, we hope to expand our programming to reach at least 1000! Our fundraising goal of $10,000 will put us one step closer to being able to provide such programming.
If you have any questions, let us know at info@float2fly.org. We hope to see you there!
